Nippon Express
Client:
WMH&I
Role Played:
Motion Graphic Designer
Project Overview:
NX Nippon Express launched the "Anything to Anywhere" campaign to reinforce its brand positioning as a global logistics leader with unparalleled reach and capability. Aimed at the European and North American markets, the campaign highlights NX’s ability to deliver anything—no matter how delicate, complex, or extraordinary—to anywhere on the planet (and beyond).
My Contribution:
I was tasked with creating the animated case study video that brought the campaign's core message to life. Working from the branding and creative direction provided by WMH&I, I:
• Developed and animated 3D models based on key campaign visuals—ranging from a T. rex skeleton and couture dress to high-tech robotics and medical cargo—all wrapped in a distinct paper style inspired by traditional Japanese origami.
• Built a narrative sequence that showcases each object in motion, emphasizing the meticulous care, precision, and artistry behind NX’s logistics services.
• Applied brand assets—such as NX’s color palette and delivery tags—to reinforce consistency and identity throughout the animation.
• Designed transitions and kinetic typography to highlight campaign slogans and destination tags like Antarctica, Route 66, and even the Moon.
• Ensured that the animation reflects the campaign’s blend of technical ingenuity and cultural homage, marrying Japan’s craftsmanship with high-performance logistics.
Tools Used:
• Cinema 4D & Redshift
• After Effects (for compositing and motion graphics)
