Collectors Club: Motion Graphics Launch Film

I collaborated with Paul Smith to create a promotional animation introducing the brand’s new loyalty reward programme, the 'Collectors Club'. The scheme encourages customers to collect virtual 'stamps' through purchases made in-store or online, with special edition stamps unlocked at selected Paul Smith locations and through discovering hidden QR codes placed throughout key stores.

I led the pre-production phase, developing initial styleframes and storyboards that established the visual language and narrative flow of the film. The brand’s iconic Signature Stripe became the core storytelling device that transitioned the viewer between scenes and also helped shape the playful, design-driven rhythm of the animation.

The finished animation reflects the creative, curious spirit of Paul Smith, using bold colour, texture and movement to avoid a corporate tone and instead celebrate the brand’s distinctive personality. Alongside the main video, I also created a video to be played in-store and a series of social media cutdowns to extend the campaign across multiple platforms.
